Structural steel pipes include hot-rolled seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes. Seamless steel pipes for structural purposes are divided into two types according to the provisions of Seamless Steel Pipes for Structural Purposes (GB/T8162-2008):valve hot rolled (extrusion, expansion) and cold drawn (rolling). The outer diameter of hot-rolled steel pipes is 32-630mm, and the wall thickness is 2.5-75mm. Cold drawn steel pipes have an outer diameter of 5-200mm and a wall thickness of 2.5-12mm. Welded steel pipes are formed by pressing steel plates or strips, and can be divided into straight welded steel pipes and spiral welded steel pipes. The outer diameter and wall thickness of straight welded steel pipes are 5-508mm and 0.5-12.7mm, respectively, in accordance with the provisions of GB/T3793-2008.
